Season 6 of Battlefield 2042 has just been announced. To be released on October 10, 2023, the new season is intriguingly titled “Dark Creations.” With the new season comes a redesign for all the existing 7 launch maps, including the “Hourglass” map, which was newly introduced in Season 5.
The details of most of the new features and specifications for the new season have not been released yet. However, teasers hint at the arrival of “chillingly unique” new battlegrounds with terrible secrets. One of the most highly anticipated maps is the one that is being described as “Claustrophobic CQC”, which will be a close-quarters map. The official name for the map has not yet been disclosed.
Season 6 also brings several new tools and weapons that can be unlocked through the game pass and will keep the gameplay enjoyable and fresh for gamers.
And all this on top of the Redux project launched in August of this year, which reintroduced several contents from previous seasons as well. These included the weekly events that were widely popular, as well as several of the game modes.
