Microsoft released the OpenAI’s DALL-E 3 model last Saturday on their Bing Image Creator tool. For enthusiasts and knowledgeable observers who had been waiting for its release, this came as a big surprise. Internet users are raving about the qualities of images generated by their prompt.
Microsoft has become the focus of digital art creator communities on Reddit and Twitter since they quietly released it. Because the project was only announced mere 10 days ago to the public, people weren’t prepared for such an early release of the product. This has created hype in the community because of the unexpected nature of the release. Typically, before the product is released there is always some kind of a leak beforehand.
It is a marked improvement over its wildly popular predecessor, DALL-E 2. According to the users on Reddit and Twitter, the new model has significantly enhanced image and text interpretation capabilities.
According to early reports, the most recent DALL-E 3 models has been able to render readable text in its images and depict historical figures and personalities with greater precision. Some Reddit and Twitter users have even dubbed the DALL-E 3 “the best AI image generator ever” due to its consistent ability to produce superior results.
Youtuber, MattVidPro has also given his two cents claiming that the new model is vastly superior to the previous version. He even went as far to say that the functionality was in fact much better than Midjourney which has been a user favourite so far.
